IMG_00831. Why did you start taking better care of your hair?
I started taking care of my hair because I was tired of having heat damage! My curl pattern was completely ruined from constantly flat ironing my hair. All wanted was to do a wash n go and have nice beautiful juicy curls.
2. What is your ultimate goal length?
Honestly I change my goal length every other day, I’m so indecisive. One day I want to cut my hair all off and then the next day I want my hair down to my knees lol. But I guess my main goal would be to have my hair at tailbone length when straightened.
3. How are you going to celebrate when you reach your ultimate goal length?
I am going to take a lot of pictures!
4. What are some styles you want to try at your goal length?
I definitely want to flat iron my hair! I haven’t straightened my hair in 3 years and I don’t plan on straightening it until I reach my goal length. That will be pretty exciting when it happens!
5. Which do you prefer: Health or Length?
I definitely prefer health! Unfortunately before I started my hair journey I had to learn that the hard way.
6. What is your favorite part of your hair regimen?
My favorite part would be deep conditioning my hair and sitting under the dryer. It’s something so relaxing about sitting under the dryer knowing that my hair is getting moisturized.
7. What is the most annoying part of your hair regimen?
The most annoying part would definitely have to be detangling my hair! My hair can be so difficult sometimes.
8. What do you like to surf most often: Youtube channels, blogs, or hair forums?
Definitely YouTube channels! I love watching natural hair videos! One of my goals is to eventually start my own natural hair YouTube channel.
9. What is your “go to” hair style?
A low sleek ponytail with a side part, I will do this style forever! I know its going to look good no matter what.
10. What piece of advice would you give to someone just starting out on their hair journey?
Don’t compare your hair to others, this can cause discouragement and also be PATIENT! Patience is the key!
